Today I help Katie, Henry, and Molly with their media work, I need to help them because I am the camera person. However, we ran into some problems. One of the problems we ran into was when we got the camera from the technician we were told the battery was fully charged but after a few minutes of having the camera on, the camera told us the battery was dying. So, we had to go back to the technician for a new battery that was fully charged.
The second problem we ran into was that we need a mic to pick up the audio but as this was the podcast we were filming, the thumb screw was broken m, so we have to ask out lecturer if they had any more and after about few minutes of looking for one, we finally found one. So, we were able to start recording the podcast.
For the podcast, we took a few takes because there were some small mistakes in them like people laughing and we needed to test the camera and the mic to make sure that the quality of the video was good and the quality of the audio was good and that mic was pick up the sound correctly but mainly because on the first take I forgot to turn the mic on so we had to start again.

Today I was going to take some photos with my actors but unfortunately, one of my actors is off ill and the weather was against us so I decided to start creating my fact sheets for my TV advert so that I could then out of the way and not need to worry about them until the editing of the video. In the first fact sheet, I did the key facts about smoking. To do this I use Microsoft PowerPoint as well as the research that I have on my blog from when I conducted research on the client. Once I have finished the rest of the fact sheet, I am going to read these facts out and record myself doing this is that people all types of people can what this advert whether they are within my target audience or out of the target audience, I want everyone willing to watch this advert be able to read and listen to it. Doing this will also give my I have the opportunity to add a bit more to my products.
Benefits of not smoking
Today I start to make my inspired statistics sheets for my TV advert, to do this I needed to use Photoshop. The first thing that I did after I create a new Photoshop project was that I used a tool called paint bucket to turn the background layer green, after that, I used the line tool to split the canvas into three different panels so that I could have three different colours on each panel The other two colours were red and cyan. Now that I have all the colours on the different panels I removed the lines that I used to separate the canvas. Once that was done I used the horizontal type tool to add the title and the facts, while adding each fact I added an image to represent the fact. For example, if the fact was it reduces financial burden I would add an image of a pound sign "£". However, I did have a problem with the type tool which was when I typed it show the text straight away so sometimes I made a spelling mistake and I would have to wait for it to catch up before I could fix the spelling mistakes.
Here are the tools I used to make the inspired statistics sheet, the first tool is the horizontal type tool, the second tool is the line tool and the last tool is the paint bucket tool. These help me to create all of my inspired statistics sheets for my TV advert.
After I complete the benefits of not smoking sheet I moved on to another statistics sheet about cardiovascular disease in women. With this sheet, the first thing that I did was used the paint bucket tool to make the background layer blue, and then I imported the image that inspired this statistics sheet, I did this so that I could trace over the drawings of the women because it is really hard to draw on Photoshop with a mouse and I thought it would be easy to trace then do it by free hand, but even though I was tracing it was just as hard to trace with a mouse, it would have been easy if the computer had drawing pen when it comes to using Photoshop. After a few minutes of trying to trace the drawing I was finally done with them, so I could move on to getting the fact this sheet is for. To do this I used the horizontal type tool to write "One in three women die for cardiovascular disease and strokes because of smoking".

Today I was going to take some photos outside. Still, unfortunately, it was way too cold to take pictures, so I decided to continue with my fact sheets and innovative products for my TV advert so that I could get them out of the way and not have to worry about them later. I also help with Katie's group project as I am their camera person.
Week 2 (12-12-2022 - 16-12-2022)
12-12-2022
Today I went to take some photos that were initially outside shots but due to the weather being bad and going to be bad for the rest of the week, I decided to move the outdoor photos indoors so that I and my cast/crew don't get hypothermia. Today's photos included breaking a candy stick (cigarette) and two teens smoking. At the start, we had some trouble opening the candy stick packet but eventually, we manage to open it and now we could get on with the photoshoot.
13-12-2022
Yesterday I got permission to use the mock-up hospital, also known as the Health Hub, between 11.30 and 12.00 to take some photos that I need for my media work. So today, Katie, Henry, and I went to the Health hub to take the images I needed. The photoshoot went smoothly, I managed to take many different shots of the photo idea I needed, and I also managed to many different angles within the photos I took. When we got to the Health hub we couldn't find an oxygen mask, so I decided to take some of Henry without the mask on, but a few minutes we found the oxygen hidden in plain sight we just didn't see it, now that we had found an oxygen mask I could take the photos I want as this images where inspired by an image that I had found. I was also able to get an establishing shot of the Health hub for my PowerPoint on the location I may/will be using.
Prototype images-
I am not going to use these images because, in the first image, Henry isn't lying down, and in the second image, it looks like Henry is in the hospital because he has Covid or something. I am going to use this image because it clearly shows Henry with an oxygen mask on and I can say it is because he has been smoking for years, it is also because the image is very clear.
The image that I am going to use-
16-12-2022
Today is the last day of the term so I decided that today I was going to take a small break from the project as I only had three images left to take unfortunately Katie was unable to bring her special effects makeup in due to it being the last day of term. However, one of the images I needed to take, was planned to be taken at my house, so I would be able to get that image sorted. However, the other two images would have to wait until the Christmas holiday is over as I would not see my actors during this holiday as they would be spending time with their families and so would I. On the other hand, I did decide to work on my leaflet as it would be the longest practical part of my project and due to not having premium pro at home, I could not begin to edit and compose the TV advert.
Week 3 (12-12-2022 - 16-12-2022)
19-12-2022
Today I decided to begin making the leaflet, however, I ran into a problem when making the leaflet-like style, I went onto Microsoft word to see if there was any template for leaflets/brochures but there was none, so I decided to consult the internet and it said the best Microsoft office program to use as Microsoft Publisher. So that is exactly what I went on next, I search for brochures in the template search bar, and found they had loads of different templates, I just need to choose one as I was going to change everything on it, I really only need the leaflet-like design (the three columns).
21-12-2022
Today I have managed to complete three of the leaflet panels, which were the front main page, the general information page, and the smoking-related diseases I had a problem with this as I had a lot of information about this subject and I needed fit as much information as I could into this panel as well as the image which I successfully did by moving some text boxes around, like moving the title further up and moving the image to the bottom of the panel instead of having it in the middle of the panel. However, as it was getting close to Christmas I decided to put my project on pause and continue it after Christmas.
27-12-2022
Today I managed to complete all of the panels minus some of the images as they are on my Onedrive, and I am not connected to my Onedrive on my laptop so importing the image would have to wait until I went back to college. I had another problem that I ran into, which was that Publisher didn't have many background design tools which made it hard to make the background the way I want it to be which is that the background for the leaflet was different colours to make it more appealing to my young adult audience. To solve this issue I decided that I would put my leaflet into Photoshop so that I could design the background the way I want it to be I also get more colour choices with Photoshop but there was another problem as I don't have the Photoshop software at home I would have to wait until I went back to college after the holidays.
04-01-2023
Today is the day we went back to college as the holidays were over, so I could finally continue with my project. I decided that I needed to take the final images today so that I could that part over and done with, so I messaged Katie asking her to bring in her special effects makeup so that I could make one of the actors look like they have been smoking for years. However, Katie had forgotten the makeup wipes to take the makeup off so I decided not to use the makeup but use Photoshop to make Henry look like he has been smoking for years. I ran into a problem when the actors and I went to get a camera so that I could take my images, the technician was not in and there was nowhere else to get a camera from as our other classroom was being used, so my actors suggested that I use my phone as it would be easier and I needed to get these photos taken. So I decided just to use my phone to take the images which work really well, the only thing left to was to put the images into the leaflet and find a tutorial on how to make someone look like they have been smoking for years using Photoshop.
Week 4 (09-01-2023 - 13-01-2023)
09-01-2023
Today I started to work on my TV advert, the first thing I did was get all the images I am going to use in the advert. But, to make it look like a TV advert, I needed a slide welcoming the audience to the advert and mentioning what the advert is. For example, Welcome to the NHS's new smoking advert, some contact info and to make it even more like a TV advert I will have a voice-over so that people can read and listen to the advert.
10-01-2023
Today I decided to start editing the images I took using Photoshop but when I opened it something popped up saying that all scratch disks are full, so Photoshop could not open. To fix this I try to delete some old work that I don't need anymore and see if that would work. Unfortunately, doing this did not work, so I decided to keep trying for a day or two but still no luck.
13-01-2023
Today I sent a prototype of my leaflet to some people to see what their thought about my leaflet was so far. I got some good feedback, some said they liked that there was a lot of information in it but that the background and style could be improved upon. One person said that they were not sure what order to read the leaflet so I decided to add numbers next to the titles to show which area to read next. After I have done some more work on the leaflet and the TV advert I will send them again to the same people to get more feedback and any suggestions on how to improve my work.
14-01-2023
Today I took the last photo that I needed to take, I had a couple of problems, one of them was that the ashtray was dirt, I was going to wash it out but I thought it would look better to have smoked cigarettes in the ashtray to make it look like it was a used ashtray, so then I just added the candy stick on the side to make it look like it was a lit cigarette. The other problem was that I got some objects in the photo that I didn't want in the image but I can use these photos as prototype images.
18-01-2023
Today I was able to start working on the images that needed to be edited in Photoshop, I was able to do this because the day before I talked to my lecturer about not being able to use Photoshop because my scratch drive was full and he said he will try to sort it out and he did. So, for the next couple of days, I will get the rest of the image editing done and the advert finished as it only needs a couple of images added to it and the transitions in, and then I can focus on finishing the leaflet background editing which will also be done in Photoshop.
While working in Photoshop I ran into a few problems. One of these problems was that I didn't really know how I could make Henry look older and like he has been smoking for years so I needed to use the internet to figure out how I could do this, I found that by using the neural filter which is under the filter tab at the top of the Photoshop screen. After I managed to make Henry older, I needed to make his skin darker, as smoking will have that effect on your skin after years of doing it. However, I didn't know how to do this either so I decided to experiment with it and eventually I did it and was happy with the results.
To make Henry look older I use a tool called smart portrait which is within the neural filters that are under the filters tab at the top right-hand corner of the Photoshop screen. However, as I haven't used this filter before I needed to download and I thought after finishing the image I wanted, I could experiment with this new filter that I had discovered through a YouTube tutorial. Once the smart portrait was downloaded, a few drop-down menus popped up, but the featured menu with the adjustment bars I needed was the featured one. I looked through the four adjustments to see which one I needed to use: the facial age adjustment bar. I started by moving the small circle to the max, to see what it would do to Henry, which added 40 years to his current age. After, this I decided to move the small circle to different parts of the bar to see what the other values would do to Henry's face and age. But, I realised that the value would have to be at the max to get the best older Henry.
the gradient map tool and the eraser tool.
Experimentation:
While making Henry look like he has been smoking for years, I experimented with everything I was doing. For example, when I was increasing his age I increased the value by 10 to see what it would look like and if would be the right value I was looking for, but I soon realized that increasing the value to the max was the best option as it definitely made him look older then he actually was. I also tried the other options that are part of the smart portraits. I did this to see if would make the image even better than just increasing his age, unfortunately, that was not the case. To make Henry's skin darker I tried to use colour replacement but when I tried it, it didn't work, so I decided to find another way.
20-01-2023
Today I am going to concentrate on making Henry's hands look darker, older and damaged, to do this I am going to use Photoshop and the same technique I used to make his face darker and older. Once that is finished I will move on to the group smoking image, for this image I need to lasso tool Henry and Molly out of the current image they are in and add them to an image of Barnes Park because they can't be smoking inside and then I need to add the smoke as we didn't use real cigarettes or a fake one, we used candy sticks as our cigarettes, so I need to make it look like there is smoke coming from the candy sticks. However, I ran into a problem with Photoshop, when I opened Photoshop up it said that my scratch drive was full, so again I can not do any work on Photoshop.
For making Henry's skin darker, I used the draw square tool to create a rectangle around Henry's face, then I went to the options for the square so that I could change the colour to a darker skin colour, but it also needed to be a browny-yellow colour. Once that was done I clicked on the line box to remove the outline that was around the square, then I lowed the opacity so that I could see Henry's face underneath as well as the coloured square. Now I could use the eraser tool to remove any colour that was not on top of his face, but first I need to decrease the sharpness of the eraser. After some erasing, I needed to make the new skin tone look more like part of the image to do this I used the gradient map tool on the layer mask that I added to the colour square.
Week 5 (23/01/2023-27/01/2021)
23-01-2023
Again I couldn't open my Photoshop because of the scratch drives being full, so I spent most of the lesson trying to make space in the c:/ drive, to do this I transferred any things that I didn't need in my Onedrive to Google drives and my memory stick. But, while I was waiting for the transfers to finish I caught up on my blog work and gave feedback on my friends' project work. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get much stuff transferred to my memory stick and Google drives, so tomorrow once I have gotten my new memory sticks I should be able to move a lot more stuff from my Onedrive to those memory sticks. But until that happens my lecturer has suggested using Photopea until I have enough space for Photoshop to work. However, in my SSS lesson, I was able to use Photoshop so, I manage to get the editing done for Henry's hands, the only thing I think I could improve on is making Henry's nails look yellow. But unfortunately when I got back to my normal class Photoshop wasn't working again so I have to leave Henry's hands the way I had them in our SSS lesson.
Henry's Hands Editing
To make Henry's hand skin look darker I did exactly the same that I did for his face skin which was I used the square tool to make a box around the left hand, then I made sure to remove the outline of the box so that there would only be the skin colour and no outline in the way. Next, I used the paint bucket tool to fill in the box with the skin colour I thought would look good, after this I went around the left hand with the eraser tool to get rid of any excess colour that was not needed, when I had finished the erasing, the last thing to do before I complete this edit was to lower the opacity so that it looked like it was Henry's skin colour to start with and so that you could see his actual hand. For Henry's right hand, I did exactly the same method to make that hand's skin darker.
24-01-2023
Today I needed to finish my Photoshop editing but my Photoshop was still not working so I decided to take my lecturer's suggestion and use Photopea on the internet so that I could get all of my images edited. So, today I was able to remove Henry and Molly from the photo we took in the media studio and put them into a photo of Barnes Park that I took, so it didn't look like they were smoking indoors. I did however notice a mistake that I made when taking the group smoking image which was that Henry and Molly still had their lanyards on, though it wasn't a big problem because when they are put into the image of Barnes park it will just look like they are having a smoke after college. The only thing left to do with this image is to add the smoke and make it look like it was there when taking the photo. However, I will have to search for how to do that because I am not sure how I do that in Photopea as I am not that familiar with that software.
Luckily, with a lot of transferring documents and videos to my hard drive, I was able to get enough space for Photoshop to work. So, even though I did the image in Photopea I decided to do it again in Photoshop as I was more familiar with it and it made it easier for me to figure out how to remove the black background from the smoke image, which to do this I needed to use a tool called magic wand and select the parts of the image I wanted to get rid which was all of the blacks that could. But I will still keep the work I have done in Photopea as a show of skill development and experimentation.
The first thing that I needed to do to edit this video was to get rid of the excess junk from around Henry and Molly, to do this I used two tools called the lasso tool and the polygonal lasso tool. I used the magnetic lasso tool on a bit of Henry and I used the normal lasso tool on Molly. Next, I used the eraser tool to get rid of any of the excess junk that I missed when I lassoed around Henry and Molly. After that, I needed to import the Barnes park image that I took and make it look like Henry and Molly were already in the image when I took it.
The final thing that I need to do was to add smoke to the cigarettes, which I did, however there, was a problem because of the black background. But, lucky I found out how to do this from my lecturer, which was that I had to use a tool called magic wand and select all the black backgrounds that I wanted to get rid of. Then once all of the black backgrounds were gone I need to make it look more grey than white as cigarette smoke is not white it is grey, to do this I lowered the opacity down to about 35% which was done by moving the small slider along the opacity bar. Now the smoke looked a lot better so I can now tick this image off of my list.
Experimentation
30-01-2023
Today, I had one last image that I had to edit before I could fully finish the TV Advert and leaflet prototypes. The image that I needed to edit was the photo I took of the candy stick in the ashtray. I didn't need to do much to the image except add smoke at the end of the candy stick which was in the ashtray, I needed to do this so that the candy stick looked like it was lit and someone had just put it down. To make the candy stick look like it was lit, I add an image of some cigarette smoke to Photoshop along with the image of the ashtray. However, there was a problem with the smoke image as the background was black, so I had to use a tool called a magic wand the select and delete any and all of the black that was present. Though I may not have gotten all of the blacks because some of it was blended with white, getting rid of the black would also get rid of the white as the tool can't distinguish between black and white. Once I had finished using the magic wand tool I needed to make the smoke more grey than white to do this I lowered the opacity of the smoke to around about 35%.
Now that all the images were edited I could add them to their respective products.
At about half ten I and Katie went into the media studio so that I could record her voice while she read through my fact sheets, this was so that I could add her voice-over to my TV advert making feel and sound more like an advert than just a bunch of slide on a screen. After that, I start to work on the TV advert now that I had all the images I needed for it.
To begin with, I add the introduction slide to the premium pro timeline, I was still going to have the slides in that people could also read along as well as listen, while I added the fact slides and images I also added the music and the voice-overs for the fact sheets.
TV Advert Editing
Once that was complete and I was happy with the sequence, there were a few adjustments that I made like when I added the different images and facts slide I needed to adjust the scale of the image so that you could see the entire image, removing the video of the cancer diagram from the advert as it made the advert too long, I also adjusted how long the images would show for to make the advert short, it made it short be couple minutes but not much. So my advert is still over two minutes but I am not sure how I could shorten it because the longest parts of the advert are the voice-over fact slides. Which are to get rid of because they are the most important part of the advert.
Now that all of the images and fact slides are in place, I could start adding video and audio transitions to the advert, the first transition I added was the iris circle to open the advert. The next transition that I added to the advert was the iris diamond so that the transition between the opening slide to the first statistics sheet after that I added an audio transition to the music that I added which was the exponential fade this was so that the music didn't just end suddenly, save some time I added the exponential fade to all of the music parts before continuing with the rest of the video transition. Once that was done the next transition I added was the fade-to-black transition, the next one was the split transition which I also added to the next four images then, I added the film dissolve transition to the next two images. The final two transitions were the morph cut and the iris circle but reversed I finally finished my TV advert and leaflet prototypes, before I move on to the next stage of the product I want to get some feedback on my prototypes, to find out if people like them and if there is anything that I could improve or change.
TV Advert Prototype
Leaflet Prototype
After I had finished all of the images and added them to my leaflet I could start designing the background for the leaflet. The first thing I did for this was I used the line tool to separate the canvas into three panels so that I could use the paint bucket to colour each panel separately. Now that I have the lines separating the canvas I can start colouring each panel by using the paint bucket, for the first panel I can a light green, for the second panel I coloured a bright red and for the last panel I coloured indigo. Once the colouring was done I can get rid of the lines that are separating the canvas. For the second sheet of the leaflet, I did the exact same thing when it came to designing the background, the only different thing was the colours.

TV Advert Feedback
I asked my class to complete a form that I created to get some feedback on my prototype TV advert before I submitted my final product, form my form I got 4 responses so far. The first question that I asked was if they liked my advert, and 100% said that they did. So I now have confirmation that my advert is appealing to my target audience which is young adults aged 16-20.
The next question I asked was what they liked about my advert, and the first person said that the images represent what could happen. The second, third and fourth people said that they how it was informative and that it tells people the risks of smoking.
The last question that I asked was if there was anything that I could improve or change. The first person said to not talk through all of the slides and just to talk through the main highlights and to let the audience read the rest, which I will improve upon by having the voice-over on the introduction slide and the first fact slide and then have the voice-over on the did you know facts and then only have it on the titles of the slides and the leave the slide up for a bit so that the audience can read it themselves. The second and third people said there was nothing they could think of that I could improve or change about my advert. The last person said that the advert runs a bit too long and that the transition could be changed, the advert will possibly get shorter when I shorten some of the voice-overs and the images that go with the voice-overs.
I asked my class to complete a form that I created to get some feedback on my prototype leaflet before I submitted my final product, from my form I got 5 responses so far. The first question that I asked was if people liked my leaflet, and 100% said that they did like my advert. So I now have confirmation that my leaflet is appealing to my target audience which is young adults aged 16-20.
The next question that I asked was what did they like about my leaflet, the first response said they liked the variety of colours because it helps the leaflet stand out which is exactly what I was aiming for because young adults aged 16-20 like things that are colourful and the pop out from the rest of the products. My second response said they liked that the leaflet was informative which is again what I was aiming for because when I did my focus group and questionnaires at the start of the project I found out that a lot of people either didn't know what smoking can do to you and your body or only knew a few things smoking can do to you and your body. So, it is good to know that there is enough information for people to learn about the effect of smoking. The third and fourth responses that I got said they liked how colourful and informative it was and again exactly what I was aiming for. The last response that I got said that my leaflet was informative and factual and that the images helped illustrate the message, which really helps me understand that my leaflet is ideal for young adults aged 16-20.
The next question that was in my form was what they didn't like about my leaflet. The first response said that the design of the leaflet was a bit basic which I can improve by maybe adding a design to each of the panels, this will be behind the text, to make it more interesting or I could add a border around the perimeter of the leaflet, but I don't want to do too much because it will make the leaflet overcrowded with colour. The second response said that there was too much information in the leaflet which I really can't improve upon because most if not all medical leaflets have a lot of information and I was aiming to have a lot of information because a lot of people are uneducated on the effect of smoking on you, your body and people around you. The third response said there was nothing they didn't like about my leaflet which is a good thing. The fourth response said that some of the text was hard to read which I can improve upon by making the text a different colour and changing the font of the text to a basic font instead of a fancy one, and the last response said that the text font could be changed which links in with the fourth response.
The last question that was in my form was if there was anything that I could improve or change. The first person said the design which I could add some patterns to each of the panels or a border around the edge of the leaflet. The second person said that I could add more images, which could be possible if I make the text size smaller on panels that don't have a lot of information and add an image that represents that type of topic. The third person said to change the text to white so it can stand out more which was a thought I had already because I was having a hard time reading the text, so this is definitely an improvement that I will do. The last person said that the colour on some of the headings could be changed to make them more visible, which I will definitely do as people will need to be able to read the heading otherwise they will not understand the text in that panel, so I will take it back to Publisher and change the colour of some of the headings.
Leaflet Improvements
After getting the feedback for my leaflet, I decided to improve my leaflet and try and change some of the things that my class suggested to improve or change upon. The first thing I did to improve my leaflet was changing the colour and font of the text so that it is more readable, I also move some of the images and text boxes around so that everything could fit because when I changed the font of the text some of the text boxes were too small. After this, I added a new image to the middle panel on the second sheet because it was the only panel without an image.
Once I was finished improving my leaflet in Publisher I needed to save it as a PDF so that I could import it to Photoshop and improve the background of the leaflet. When I got my leaflet back into Photoshop I basically used the same method to design the background of the leaflet when I first edited the leaflet's background. Though there was not much change in the background design. I start by changing the background to blue so that I could see the text as it was white text on a white background, now that I could see the text I resized the leaflet to fit the canvas. Then I used the line tool to separate the canvas into three different panels, but before I could add the other two colours to the panels I needed to rasterize the two lines. Before I added the rest of the colours I tried adding some more lines to divide the panels up more and have even more colour to the leaflet but when I tried to add colour to do it, it didn't work, so I decided to stick with how it was before. Once that was done I could move on to adding the other two colours, to make it easier to get the previous colours I had, as the colours I had chosen were fine I just needed to add more colours, I import the first leaflet Photoshop project so that I could get the exact same colours as before. To do this I went on to the first project, opened the colour selection menu and used the eyedropper tool to get the exact same colours, and one by one I added the colours to the new leaflet, I didn't want to add extra colours on this improvement because I wanted to see if the text and the titles were visible and that people could see them.

Leaflet Feedback
Once I had finished the improvements for my leaflet, I asked my class to fill out another form to see what they liked about the improvement and whether or not there was anything I could improve or change. I didn't do many improvements to the colours as I wanted to see if the text and the titles were visible on the colours I had before, after this feedback I will be improving upon the colours by either adding more colours or changing the current ones. With this form, I used the exact same questions, and I got 5 responses
The first question I asked was what did they like about my leaflet. All the responses that I got were that they liked how my leaflet was informative and well-designed. The second question I asked was if there was anything that I could improve or change. The first person said that I could add different clear fonts to separate the different topics, for this I could make each topic different text fonts which will make it stand out more. The second, third and last person said that they think that more colour could be added to make it more visually interesting, which I didn't do in this improvement because I was mainly focusing on the text and the titles being visible in the colours I chose, however in this final improvement, I will be focusing on the colours and the backgrounds. The fourth person said that I could add more images to my leaflet, unfortunately, I am unable to add more images because there is no room within my leaflet but I will try to add more images if I can.
TV Advert Improvements
TV Advert Feedback
Once I had finished the improvements for my TV Advert, I asked my class to fill out another form to see what they like about the improvements and whether or not there was anything I could improve or change. With this form, I used the same question as last time and got 3 responses. The first question I asked was what they liked about my TV advert. The first and second people said that they liked how it was informative, and the third person said how they liked the transition that I used in the advert.
The second question I asked was if there was anything that I could improve or change. The first and third people said nothing good, the second person said that I could speed up the advent and add better transitions, but I can't speed up the advert because it would mean removing some important images or slides, though I could remove one or two images and reduce the amount of time the images show for. For the transition, I will be keeping them the way they are because I think they are the best transition for this advert.

Final Leaflet Improvements
Now that I have my final feedback for my leaflet, I improved the text fonts of each of the subjects so that they are more visible to read and stand out more. After this, I move my improved leaflet to Photoshop to improve the colours and design, I will be keeping some of the current colours I chose but adding some more design to the background.
Now that I have the first sheet in Photoshop I can work on improving the leaflet, the first thing I did was to get the background the same as last time however I change the light green to a dark green so that the text is more visible, once that was done I moved on to add more colour and design. First, I used the rectangle tool to create a rectangle around the text in the panel on the left, after I used the paint bucket to make the rectangle black but the text was not visible so I decided to change it to blue. Then, I used the paintbrush tool to create a border around the middle panel using the same colour as I did for the rectangle. After, I used the same colour to section off each of the topics of the middle panel. Lastly, I changed the paintbrush colour to lilac and created a border around the panel on the right but with this panel instead of sectioning off each item on the panel I decided to add a cross to the panel, to make it different.
Now that the first sheet was done, I could move on to improving the second sheet. Again with this sheet, the first thing I did was to get the background the same as last time but this time I will be adding more colour and design to each of the panels. Firstly, I used the Ellipse tool to create a circle around the first text box under the third topic, I also included the title in the circle as well, and then I used the paint bucket tool to make the circle a pastel red. After, I created a black box around the did you know the fact at the bottom of the middle panel. Then I used the paintbrush tool to create a border around the rest of the middle panel with a yellow colour, I also add a cross to this border and a line going across the middle of the panel to add more design. Next, I used the paintbrush tool again to make some shapes around the edge of the panel on the right, I wanted to fill them in but when I tried it filled in the whole sheet, so I decided to just leave it. When I had finished the new design I realized that it was hard to read the text with the yellow line going through it, so I changed the yellow to the blue I used for the background of the panel on the right.
Final TV Advert Improvements
After receiving feedback for the improvement I did to my advert. I wanted to improve on my advert one last time with the feedback I got. The first thing that I did was reduce how long the second and third fact sheets showed and I also needed to change how long the music played as the duration of the fact sheet was reduced, this reduced how long the advert was as I could move everything after this sheet down to join up with the rest of the advert. After this, reduced how long all the images between the second and third fact sheets showed so that I could reduce how long the advert was, even more, I also did this to the music that played over these images. I had to add the film dissolve video transitions again as they were removed from the timeline when I reduced their duration.
